CONFIDENT Paul Anderson believes his England Giants will do the club proud in tonight’s Origin clash against the Exiles at Warrington.
Eorl Crabtree, Leroy Cudjoe and Brett Ferres are all in line to represent their country against the cream of the overseas stars playing in Super League (8.00).
England’s line-up will not be revealed by national coach Steve McNamara until 90 minutes before kick-off.
But Anderson knows if his in-form trio get the nod, they won’t let anyone down.
“All three deserve to play, because their form throughout the year has been so consistent,” said Anderson.
“If they do, and they maintain that form, then I know they’ll prove a genuine threat for England and cause the Exiles a lot of problems.
“I just hope all three get the final nod to play. If they do, there’s no question they’ll be a real credit to themselves and to Huddersfield Giants.”
Cudjoe is already nailed-on to start at right centre, with Crabtree earmarked to play a key prop role.
But back-rower Ferres is keeping his fingers crossed he gets the nod to take his place on the bench, with England looking particularly strong in the second row.
Once the trio’s England commitments have been completed this weekend, they will have a few days off before re-joining the Giants in the build-up to the home Super League XVIII clash against champions Leeds Rhinos on Sunday week.
