HUDDERSFIELD Giants are ready to be backed by a claret and gold army in Super League next season.

The back-in-form Giants celebrated a return to winning ways against Hull KR by revealing details of a celebratory season-ticket offer for 2012 (further details tomorrow).

At half-time in Huddersfield’s 46-26 home triumph over Rovers, club chairman Ken Davy announced prices would be just £50 for the first 2,000 fans who sign up for the Fantastic Media lower tier behind the posts.

And to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Huddersfield’s first Championship winners, prices for a side-on ticket will be just £99.

Supporters have until September 12 to take advantage of the cut-price offers, with Giants owner Davy confident the deals will help the men from the Galpharm close in on an average 10,000 Super League crowd.

“At a time when prices are going up and up, we’re delighted we are in a position to offer tickets at such a reduced rate,” said Davy.

“On the field, the Giants are getting stronger and stronger, with our performances improving all the time, and hopefully we’ll be backed by even more fans than ever in 2012.”
