Four-try hero Luke Robinson is delighted the Giants will have no time to lose battle sharpness before the play-off semi finals.
Robinson-inspired the 76-18 home play-off thrashing of Hull FC.
They now face a trip to either Warrington or Wigan next week – depending on who Warrington pick as their ClubCall opponents at lunchtime tomorrow .
Both Warrington and Wigan have had a week off – just like the Giants before the 22-8 opening play-off defeat to Wigan – and Robinson believes that scenario could play into Huddersfield’s hands.
Robinson said: “We went into the Wigan game after a week off, and it showed with our performance.
“But having that match against Wigan meant we faced Hull with our bodies better prepared for impact, with our combinations working more smoothly and our timing far better.”
