CONFIDENT Eorl Crabtree knows the Huddersfield Giants are poised to get their Super League title challenge back on track.

Huddersfield are now two points adrift of leaders Wigan after suffering back-to-back top-flight defeats for the first time this season – at home to the Warriors last Friday and at Catalan Dragons earlier in the month.

But in-form England prop Crabtree feels everything is in place for the Giants to re-discover their top form and return to winning Super League ways against Salford at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium tomorrow (2.00) as part of the Magic Weekend.

“This is going to be a big occasion and one that will again showcase our game,” said Crabtree. “But the most important thing for us this weekend is getting back to our best form and making sure we return to winning ways.

“Our performance against Wigan last Friday night was unacceptable. We set ourselves high standards and we dipped well below that.

“Tomorrow is the chance to put that right against Salford, and we’re confident that’s exactly what we’ll do.”
