Popular prop Eorl Crabtree knows it’s vital the Huddersfield Giants build on the draw against Leeds and produce an even more accomplished Super League performance at Bradford Bulls on Sunday.

Huddersfield bounced back from their shock 22-20 defeat at Widnes Vikings two weeks ago with a hard-fought 12-12 home draw against the Rhinos last Friday.

Many felt it was a contest the Giants deserved to win.

And the vastly-experienced 31-year-old knows if his side don’t build on their last display when they travel to the Bulls, there will be a big sense of disappointment.

“We were happy with the draw because we’ve struggled recently to close games out, but we did that against an in-form Leeds side,” said Crabtree.

“It was just the confidence boost we needed, particularly as Leeds had made an unbeaten start to the season and had looked so impressive.

“Hopefully we’ll get the two points on Sunday, but we know we can’t take anything for granted.

“We’re going to have to go there and put in another big performance and, in a way, bounce back again because we didn’t win against Leeds.

“But we’re certainly on the right track again.

Against Leeds I felt we were playing in the right spirit and the right way to get something more than just a draw from that game.

“I just hope we can keep on improving and get two points rather than one this weekend.”

Adult tickets for Sunday’s game are £20, with £15 concessions, £10 Under 16s and all Under 12s free when accompanying an adult.

Tickets can be purchased directly from the Giants, which earns the club commission on the ticket sales.
