THE Huddersfield Giants have boosted their youth ranks by securing the signatures of talented teenagers George Croisdale and Zack McComb.

The youngsters have successfully graduated through the Giants Scholarship programme before spending time with their community clubs.

Sixteen-year-old Croisdale joins from Dewsbury Moor after impressing at centre and McComb, who has one year’s development over his compatriot, again links up with the Giants following a successful spell as a loose forward at Halifax-based club Siddal.

Both signings will be looking to continue their rugby league rise by securing a regular place in the newly-formed Under 19s squad, which has replaced the Under 18s and 20s set-ups.

And Giants Head of Youth Performance Peter Riding is full of praise for the young stars.

“Both young men conduct themselves very professionally and are a real credit to their community clubs from which they join the Giants,” he admitted.
