Huddersfield Giants squad to face Widnes Vikings

The Giants have named their 19-man squad to face Widnes on Sunday

Leroy Cudjoe has failed a late fitness test and will miss the Huddersfield Giants’ home Super League clash against Widnes Vikings on Sunday.

The England centre is continuing to struggle with the hip injury that has sidelined him for the past two games and will now be hoping to make his return at Warrington on Thursday, August 28.

But there will be at least two changes from the Huddersfield side that beat Wakefield the last time out, with utility forward David Faiumu and hooker Kruise Leeming missing out and fit-again trio Jodie Broughton, Antonio Kaufusi and Ukuma Ta'ai back in the frame.

Giants: Scott Grix, Jermaine McGillvary, Joe Wardle, Aaron Murphy, Danny Brough, Luke Robinson, Eorl Crabtree, Shaun Lunt, Craig Kopczak, Brett Ferres, Chris Bailey, Michael Lawrence, Larne Patrick, Ukuma Ta’ai, Jodie Broughton, Antonio Kaufusi, Anthony Mullally, Jacob Fairbank, Jake Connor.

Referee: Matt Thomason.
