LEROY CUDJOE has returned to pre-season training feeling fresher than ever.
Despite featuring in all three of England’s autumn Tests and not missing a single Giants game all season, the 24-year-old centre has restricted his winter break to just two weeks.
But even though he’s been allowed more time away, he returned to the club in time to go on the three-day army camp and is now in full training.
“I was ready for a bit of a holiday when my time with England was over,” said Cudjoe, who jetted off for a week’s break in Gran Canaria the day after helping his country beat France.
“But by the time I’d come home I was already thinking about getting back with the boys for pre-season training.
“I was still buzzing after playing for England, and that time away was long enough for me to re-charge my batteries.
“The body feels great and I really do feel fresher than ever.
“That means I’ve been able to come back to training in good time and play a full part.
“Although we (the Giants) finished the Super League season in a pretty disappointing fashion, I still feel 2012 has been a fairly good year for me, particularly after the way it finished with England.
“And I want to make sure I do everything within my power to make next year even better.”
