Scott Grix could miss the Huddersfield Giants’ busy Easter programme.

The 29-year-old full-back has been ordered to appear in front of Rugby Football League disciplinary chiefs tomorrow night to answer a grade A charge of striking an opponent during Thursday’s 30-6 Super League defeat at Hull FC.

The RFL’s Match Review Panel feel the Ireland international has a case to answer for a first-half challenge on Gareth Ellis.

Grix doesn’t have the right to an Early Guilty Plea as he has already appeared in front of a disciplinary hearing this season after being charged for kicking out during the big win at Bradford Bulls.

He pleaded guilty to that offence, but escaped a ban.

A one-match suspension this time around would rule him out of the Good Friday trip to Salford Red Devils, while two matches would mean he misses the Easter Monday clash at home to former club Wakefield.
