HOW do you communicate?

Word of mouth? Letter? e-mail?

We at HGSA use all those methods and more!

We have a website, which is on www.GiantsSupporters.co.uk, which we are proud to think is one of the best fans’ sites in the UK.

It is updated on a weekly basis giving details of our past, present, and future meetings.

Reports and photographs of these meetings are turning into quite an impressive back catalogue.

There are photographs of notable ‘modern’ events, including the last match at Fartown, the last match at Leeds Road, and the first match at the stadium amongst others.

We have a ‘Heritage Section’ where there are programmes covering each of the last six decades.

David Gronow has supplied a series of historical articles and there are testimonial brochures of Dave Valentine and Paul Reilly.

Our current project is to reproduce the 1995 ‘Centenary Brochure’ (permission has tried to be sought!).

If you have any earlier programmes, please let us know.

The more up-to-date heritage can be viewed via links to YouTube: a few dozen clips from yesteryear (including the infamous ‘Battle of Fartown’) and the current season’s highlights.

There are even details about how you can join the ever-growing throng of fans who wear the Fartown Fez.

And, of course, there is a membership form!

As far as social media is concerned, we have a presence on Facebook. Search for Huddersfield Giants Supporters Association and you will find us.

Our goal is to have 200 ‘friends’ by the end of April – help us to make this possible.

You can also follow us on Twitter – search for @HGSAdotcodotuk.

WHAT fantastic news!

You now have a choice of two breakfast trips for the Giants v Salford Magic Weekend clash on Sunday, May 27.

As you will be aware, the club have organised a fantastic ‘Robbie Hunter-Paul’ trip, breakfasting at the Galpharm.

And now another is being run, with a breakfast en-route.

Places for both are at a premium and going fast, so do not hesitate.

Contact the club for the RHP event.

For the alternative, visit our website or contact Dave Calverley (07887 878 425 or da.calverley@PhotoLens.co.uk).

Whether you choose to travel by coach, train, or car, please remember to buy your tickets ASAP as they will soon have to return their unsold allocation.

Remember to put Tuesday, April 3 in your diary when the Laura Crane Trust will be our guests at Turnbridge WMC (7.30).
