Is your glass half full or half empty?

“Great, we’re top of Super League, but for how long?” or “Great, we’re top of Super League, let’s stay there!”

Are you remembering the woeful second half of the Castleford game or does the memory of the first half continue to excite you?

Are you berating the way the club handled the Mason shambles or saying “Thank goodness we got rid of someone who posted disgraceful photos on the internet?”

Of course, nothing in life is ever so simple. There are always two sides to every story. But far too often people, and especially the media, focus on one side – usually the more controversial.

Take our supporters, for example.

We had one bad, bad game against Warrington last week. We were like rabbits in headlights!

But…

We were second in Super League at the time. After this week’s matches we are now looking down on the rest.

We have scored only 33 fewer points than Wigan and 150 ahead of Leeds, who are next behind us.

Defence used to be our hallmark, but that has let us down at times this season. Yet we have the fourth best defence in Super League.

On the playing side, we have three players (Danny Brough, Brett Ferres and Sean Lunt) in the top seven favourites for this season’s Super League Man of Steel.

Our 2013 fate is now entirely in our hands.

So, are you one of those who asks at 5pm “How did the Giants do today?” or are you the one who answers hoarsely “We won – again!”.

Were you one of the non-5000 last Sunday? Or were you one of that elite?

We are THE top club in Super League, yet the Sky commentators called us a ‘joke’.

Join us for the remainder of the season so we can have the last, LOUDEST laugh.
