The Heritage Project is well and truly gathering pace, with lots of new items on the website, including seven testimonial brochures to browse.
They are for Ken Bowman, Lionel Cooper, Frank Dyson, Ray Haywood, Johnny Hunter, Russ Pepperell and Stanley Pepperell.
There are three videos to watch from Ken George (Wilf's brother & Luke’s uncle), the outstanding re-enactment of the forming of the Rugby League by the youngsters of Scholes J&I School at the launch of the Rugby League World Cup 2013 at the George Hotel, and a look at the 1881-2 and 1895 fixture cards.
Meanwhile, our annual start-of-season meal is on Friday, January 25. We start in the Sportsman and then on to Marimonte.
