Huddersfield Giants popular touch rugby sessions are up and running again.

The social event, run by new Giants community coach Craig Lee, is based at the Zone every Wednesday (7pm-9pm).

Giants touch rugby has been attended by a wide range of players, from current professional players, ex-professionals, local amateur players, people who are brand new to the game – and the Giants ‘wives and girlfriends’ team!

Lee, who has recently taken up his role, is a local amateur rugby league player and coaches junior rugby at both St Josephs and Brighouse Rangers.

Lee said: “Touch rugby is a fantastic way to learn and improve rugby league skills.

“It is great for fitness as it is fast and intense, and the non-contact nature of the sport means it is suitable to everybody.”
