Top wing prospect Darnell McIntosh has been named in Huddersfield Giants Under 19s’ opening Academy clash at St Helens tomorrow lunchtime (noon) at the Blackbrook Sports and Recreation Club.
The 18-year-old impressed on senior duty in the pre-season trial triumphs over Hull KR and Catalans Dragons, and will be hoping to push on this season via some strong Academy showings.
Also named in the side is new Super League squad member Jake Wardle, who is now back to full fitness following post-season knee surgery.
