HUDDERSFIELD Giants Under 19s opened their Academy account with a 28-22 home triumph over London Broncos.
After their heavy opening-day defeat to St Helens, coach Chris Thorman’s boys recovered from a 22-10 half-time deficit to storm to victory and set them up superbly for tomorrow’s home date with Wigan Warriors at Huddersfield YMCA (7.30).
The win was secured thanks to tries from Jordan Higo, Lewis Graham, George King, Josh Johnson and Nathan Mason, while Jack Miller added four goals.
