Huddersfield Giants Under 19s head to Bradford Bulls tomorrow night looking for a victory that would take them into the top four of the Academy table for the first time this season.

Coach Chris Thorman’s fifth-placed side are just a point behind Warrington Wolves with a game in hand.

And hopes are high the rivals will swap places in the table after tomorrow night’s Odsal clash, with the in-form Giants relishing a trip to face a Bulls side beaten 42-4 at home to Hull last weekend.

At the same time, the Huddersfield youngsters were making it seven wins on the trot after their narrow 29-28 home triumph over Castleford Tigers.

Prop Jack Blagborough led the Giants’ victory charge with two tries, while others were scored by hooker Kruise Leeming, second-rower George King and centre Tom Battye. Scrum-half Jack Miller completed the scoring with four goals and a drop goal.
