HUDDERSFIELD Giants have extended the contract of community marketing manager Lisa Jagger.

The deal keeps her at the Galpharm for another three years and will enable her to continue her excellent off-field operations.

Huddersfield-born Jagger initially joined the club from the Rugby Football League and has since helped transform the marketing of the club.

It was a fact recognised by Super League late last year when she and marketing officer Jonathan Wilkinson picked up the `Most Improved Marketing Operation' award.

"Our progress as a club has been well documented," said Giants general manager Richard Thewlis.

"And much of this is down to the work of Lisa getting the message out into the local community.

"Lisa joining us was a pivotal moment for the club, and while she had a further season on her contract to run, it is only right we recognise her input.

"That is why we have extended her stay with us at the earliest opportunity."
