HAT TRICK hero Luke George is confident the Giants are going to get even stronger!

Huddersfield made it four wins from their opening five Super League XVII games to stay third in the table after a thrilling 17-16 Galpharm triumph over St Helens.

The victory owed much to George’s three tries and another inspirational half-back display from Danny Brough.

But the 24-year-old winger feels there’s still far more to come from his side – and he’s looking forward to being a part of that process, even if the tries start to dry up.

“Scoring tries is always great,” said George, who also grabbed a hat trick in the big home win over Widnes three weeks ago.

“But, at the end of the day, we’re all here to win games and get the two League points.

“In that respect, if I’d scored a hat trick against Saints and they’d sneaked it in the last minute, it would have meant nothing.

“Yes, I want to score, but it will never mean more than winning the games, and that’s something we’re managing to do at the moment, which is incredibly exciting.

“I might score the tries and Broughy may have run the show again, but the key to our success is how hard we’re working for each other. That was again the key this weekend.

“And with a number of players due to come back in the next few weeks, I know we’re going to get even stronger!”
