HI it’s Luke here.

Greg Eden is already proving to be a fantastic Super League full-back.

The fact our vastly-experienced coach, Browny, was happy comparing him to Billy Slater proves that.

Some of his performances this season have been sensational, and after having last weekend off and neatly side-stepping the Odsal mudbath, we’re sure he’ll be fighting fit for tomorrow’s Challenge Cup clash against Swinton at the Galpharm.

Like everyone else who’s given a week’s rest, the break will have helped him get over any little niggles and re-charged the batteries both mentally and physically.

And in Greg’s case, he probably needs to focus on the mental side as much as anything.

For all of Greg’s outstanding natural rugby league talent, I’m afraid he’s a sandwich short of a picnic, which his teammates cruelly love to exploit.

Now, I’m not saying Greg struggles on the academic front, but I did lend him a copy of my baby Leo’s favourite book ‘The Cat Sat on the Mat’ the other day. Leo’s now just over eight months old, so I’m sure Greg was able to relate to this esteemed publication.

He’ll certainly find it easier to read than the weekly nominations for ‘Helmet of the Week’, which we’ve all agreed should be one of Greg’s weekly tasks – because it’s so amusing.

There’s a whole array of words he simply doesn’t know how to pronounce. For example, this week there was a totally blank look on his face when he saw the word ‘colonel’, because he hadn’t a clue what it was or how to pronounce it!

Yes, I know some of you may think we’re being a bit unkind picking on him like that, but he does take it the right way. In fact, he may just be playing on a bit, happy to amuse his teammates and keep the spirit within the camp so high.

But while we can have a laugh and joke at some of Greg’s off-field antics, we’re all becoming massive fans of his incredible rugby league skills during games.

He really does have it all and, as Browny says, he’s capable of achieving anything in the game.

And we’re all looking forward to seeing what a fit and refreshed Greg Eden can do against Swinton in the Challenge Cup tomorrow!

ALL is not well inside the Huddersfield Giants camp – thanks to the return of Scotty Moore!

I’m afraid we’ve immediately witness a serious love triangle, which we’re all hoping won’t end in tears for someone.

During Scotty’s first spell at the Galpharm in 2009, he started a bromance with Keith Mason. They were almost inseparable.

As a result, I’m sure that when he walked back into Huddersfield the other week, he was looking forward to getting back into his relationship with Keith.

But during Scotty’s time away, Keith has found a new interest and struck up another bromance with Luke O’Donnell. These two spend more time together than I do with the missus.

So how’s it all going to end.

Keith is probably confused, Luke may be worried – we’ve been telling him Keith’s ‘ex’ is now back on the scene – and Scotty is bound to be feeling a bit left out.

But how will this love triangle conclude?

Watch this space!
