PAUL MARCH is back to provide extra spark to the Giants attack at Super League strugglers Castleford Tigers on Sunday (3.30).

The 24-year-old scrum half yesterday passed a fitness test on the calf muscle he tore at Wigan last month and has immediately been added to the Huddersfield squad as they look to strengthen their top-six play-off challenge.

March will return at the same time as prop Mick Slicker, who head coach Jon Sharp confirmed earlier in the week would play following a hernia operation.

And Sharp believes March's return could not have come at a better time.

"With Stanley Gene out for a month with a dislocated foot, Paul's timing is perfect," said Sharp.

"He was itching to get back against Widnes on Sunday, but it was just too soon.

"But he's already shown this week that he's ready to play again, and I'm looking forward to seeing him out there on Sunday.

"He's very enthusiastic and always has bundles of energy.

"A lot of that energy has been stored up for well over a month and I expect it to come flooding out against Cas.

"He will add an extra dimension to our play, and with Paul and Mick both returning at the same time we have two very valuable players back in the fold."
