VICTORIOUS Wakefield Wildcats coach Shane McNally has hailed yesterday's Super League performance against the Giants as his side's best of the season.

Trinity dominated the McAlpine contest from start to finish and thoroughly deserved to emerge 38-6 victors.

It was a win which helped his side gain revenge for a 24-17 defeat at the hands of the Giants at Belle Vue on Easter Monday, and left McNally brimming with pride.

"This probably has to go down as our best win and performance of the season," said the Australian, whose side have now chalked up five successes from 12 games.

"Huddersfield are a big, physical side who can play a bit, so I knew we would need to be at our best to beat them.

"And, yes, we were at our best.

"We were disappointed that we didn't get anything out of our last away game at St Helens a couple of weeks ago, so I always knew we had the ability to come here and win.

"But it was the nature of the way we went about it that really impressed."
