TOWN and Giants children's merchandise is proving a massive hit!

Demand for items for kids in the run-up to Christmas is increasing on a daily basis at both the Galpharm Stadium superstore and Sporting Pride store in the town centre.

Once again replica kits, including the new alternative Giants shirt which is now available in selected sizes and Town's red away strip, are proving to be No1 sellers.

Other items featuring the clubs' mascots, Terry the Terrier and Big G, are also going down well, and retail manager Michele Adamson is delighted.

"We've been taken aback by the popularity of our children's ranges for both rugby and football and have had to undertake emergency orders for some of the products which are now back in stock," she said.

Players from both clubs will be making guest appearances at the Sporting Pride store every Thursday in the run-up to Christmas.

The visits kick-off tonight with Chris Brandon, Martin McIntosh and Andy Booth from Town and Mat Gardner and Simon George from the Giants. They will be there from 6-7pm.
