Young prop Nathan Mason coming in for Anthony Mullally is the only change to the Giants’ 19-man squad for Friday’s Super League trip to champions St Helens.

Huddersfield head to Langtree Park looking to make it just one defeat from their last 11 top-flight fixtures, with the 21-year-old Mason poised to play after impressing on dual-registration at hometown club Oldham.

The possible senior 2015 Super League debut of Mason could be the only change from the 17 that beat Hull KR 32-14 at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday, although the 18th and 19th men that day, Scott Grix and Jacob Fairbank, will want something to say about that!

St Helens, meanwhile, could hand a debut to Australian full-back Adam Quinlan, while Luke Thompson also returns.

But they have suffered a major blow with the loss of in-form captain Jon Wilkin, who picked up a slight leg injury during last week’s heavy 46-18 defeat at Leeds Rhinos.
