TOP Giant Chris Nero is determined to build on his proud Super League record against London.
The powerful Australian completed a hat trick against London Broncos as Huddersfield secured a 34-24 triumph at the Galpharm last season.
And the 25-year-old is already setting his sights on producing another man-of-the-match display against the newly-named Harlequins RL as his side looks to secure a third victory of the year.
Nero knows it won't be easy.
But he is convinced that a performance similar to the one the Giants produced in narrowly going down 18-16 to unbeaten leaders St Helens a week ago will be more than enough to send their oppnents back down to London empty-handed.
"Last season's home game against the Broncos was obviously one of the best for me," he reflected.
"It's not every day you score a hat trick in your professional career, so it was a pretty special occasion.
"It would be fantastic to do it again, but as long as we secure the two Super League points, it doesn't matter who scores.
"I'd much rather score no tries and see us win than score a hat trick and see us lose.
"And even though we know Harlequins will make it tough, there's no reason why we can't get the victory this weekend.
"Apart from a really bad first 25 minutes at Wigan, we've not made a bad start to the season.
"We've had two solid wins over Warrington and Wakefield, and we were only eight points away from Leeds and two points away from St Helens, which shows we're getting there.
"It's an indication that we're getting far more consistent as a side and that's vitally important in a competition as intense as Super League.
"The key is to maintain a good standard week in, week out and that's our aim this weekend."
