HUDDERSFIELD Giants' Community Development team have just received a major boost.

Club staff Mick Sykes and Ryan McNeely have taken delivery of two cars, courtesy of Lightcliffe Skoda.

The sponsorship deal means it will now be far easier for the Giants to spread their community coaching net and introduce more children to rugby league.

"Because of the area we cover, it's vital for us to have transport," said Sykes.

"Up until now, we've had to share the Giants van, which has obviously restricted what we can do.

"But now we can go our separate ways and visit more schools. We can now hit far more areas.

"It's enabled us to coach around 600 kids a week, which we're extremely happy about.

"And we can't thank Lightcliffe Skoda enough for making that possible.

"The cars look great, especially now they have been logoed up by Swann Graphics, and Ryan and myself love driving around in them and showing off our colours.

"It may be quiet on the Super League front at Huddersfield Giants, but we're now busier than ever on the development front, and long may that continue!"
