GIANTS lottery club officials report it's business as usual at one of their most popular claret and gold bases.

Despite Berry Brow Post Office being under new ownership, it will continue to be a major agent for the ever-increasing club draw - much to the delight of McAlpine officials.

"You always wonder what will happen when new owners take over, particularly at an agents that's so busy," said Giants lottery sales manager Lesley O'Callaghan.

"But Naresh and Sonia Kanda agreed to take it over, and we're absolutely delighted about that.

"In fact, they are also acting as claret and gold agents at their other business, Newsome Post Office.

"Our lottery is growing all the time and it's only through the help of people like this that it can continue to flourish.

"The lottery is vital in the Giants' overall development, because a lot of the cash raised helps fund projects like the Academy. The club would be much worse without it."
