GIANTS coach Jon Sharp is urging fans to get right behind his side and out-shout the Leeds Rhinos faithful in tomorrow's big Super League opener at Headingley (3.00).
The home side will be backed by over 15,000 fans, with Huddersfield restricted to 1,000 tickets only.
That means the Giants are having to brace themselves for an intimidating Headingley atmosphere.
But Sharp believes that with a top performance from his side and strong vocal support, they South Stand regulars can be silenced.
"There's always a fantastic atmosphere at Leeds, with the fans getting right behind their team," said the Huddersfield chief.
"There's nothing better than walking out at a ground like Headingley in front of a capacity crowd, and that's what there will be tomorrow.
"It's our job and the job of the fans to keep them as quiet as possible.
"If we manage to do that, we know we're doing our bit.
"The fans have a vital role in getting behind the boys."
