EIGHT members of the Giants' triumphant Junior Academy squad have been named in the Senior side to face Keighley at Cougar Park tonight in the opening First Division fixture (7.30).
That's partly as a reward for the way they performed in the win against the Bulls.
But it is also because of head coach Jon Sharp's need to call on his fringe Super League players during a punishing time.
The likes of Philip Joseph, Jonathan Grayshon and Matthew Whittaker have all been left out after featuring in the earlier Senior Academy encounters.
And that suggests they may have a Super League part to play at Leeds on Friday night.
However, there are still high hopes that this side will give coach Lee St Hilaire a winning League start.
