GIANTS officials are looking for the club's new Senior Academy half-back partnership to take the remainder of the season by storm.

On-loan scrum half Danny Thomas will play alongside Thomas Hemingway for the second time tonight as the Giants entertain Keighley Cougars at Laund Hill (7.15).

The duo were at the heart of Saturday's big 42-10 triumph at Doncaster Dragons.

It was obvious the combination was becoming more effective as the game progressed, and it is hoped they will be even more influential tonight.

"It took a little time for them to understand each other's play, but once they did they looked extremely dangerous," said Giants football manager Stuart Sheard.

"We're all looking forward to seeing what they can do tonight, and we're very hopeful it will be well worth watching."

Tonight's side shows few changes from that which triumphed at Doncaster at the weekend.

But added to the squad is Junior Academy player Danny Garside, pictured, who has been named as one of the possible substitutes.

His selection is a reward for some outstanding displays at Under 18s level.
