RUGBY LEAGUE legend Robbie Hunter-Paul is leaving the Huddersfield Giants.

The Super League club’s business development manager has asked for an early release from his contract, leading to speculation the 37-year-old could be poised to return to Bradford Bulls.

Hunter-Paul won every honour in the game during his time at Odsal and a return to the Bulls would surprise no-one.

But right now, Hunter-Paul is focusing all his attention on making tomorrow's  home game against Catalan a memorable Giants farewell.

“It’s with some sadness I leave and I have to thank everyone throughout the club for helping me have such a wonderful time when I came back after finishing playing,” said Hunter-Paul.

“It’s been a great experience for me, and I now know and have seen first-hand how incredibly hard the Giants staff work to benefit the club."
