ST HELENS stand-off Leon Pryce has been banned for three matches after a Rugby Football League disciplinary hearing found him guilty of squeezing an opponent’s testicles.

Pryce admitted ungentlemanly conduct after the RFL studied video evidence of Saints’ 35-14 Challenge Cup semi-final win over Bradford at the Galpharm on Saturday.

Bulls prop Sam Burgess complained that he had twice been grabbed by Pryce.

The ban means he will be free to return for the Challenge Cup final against Catalans Dragons on August 25.

Bulls full-back Michael Platt has been banned for two matches for striking following another incident in the same game.

Platt punched Saints forward Maurie Fa’asavalu in the face after an altercation in the second half.

Pryce and Platt were punished at separate hearings before the RFL’s disciplinary committee. Both players were also fined £300.
