Scott Grix and Michael Lawrence could miss the Giants Super League trip to Catalan Dragons this weekend.

The duo have both been charged with offences committed during Huddersfield’s 66-18 thrashing of Bradford Bulls on Sunday.

Lawrence has been charged with the Grade B offence of making dangerous contact with James Donaldson in the third minute of the match, while Grix has been charged with the Grade B offence of kicking Adam O’Brien.

Any ban would ruled them out of Saturday’s clash in the South of France, when Catalan prop Jeff Lima could also be missing after being charged with the Grade C offence of making dangerous contact on St Helens forward Kyle Amor.

But because of their previous good disciplinary record, Lawrence and Grix do have the option of putting in an Early Guilty Plea which could help them avoid a suspension.

Also facing a ban is Bulls player Chev Walker, who has been charged with the Grade B offence of striking Giants hooker Luke Robinson.
