HUDDERSFIELD Giants are confident their annual pantomime will take place in front of a full house.

Players from the Super League club are teaming up with the Huddersfield Light Opera Company to star in `Little Red Riding Hood' at the Lawrence Batley Theatre on Tuesday, January 11 (7.15).

The one-off event proved a big hit last season and hopes are high that it will be even more successful this time around.

Over two-thirds of the tickets have already been sold, with those that remain on sale from the club office at the Galpharm Stadium.

And with the likes of Eorl Crabtree and Ben Roarty ready to tread the boards once again, a highly entertaining night is in store.

"We're delighted with the way the tickets are going," said Giants marketing manager Jonathan Wilkinson.

"Our aim from the start was to make it a sell-out, which we feel is well within our grasp.

"The last pantomime was a massive success and we are confident this one will be even bigger and better."

Tickets are priced from £3.50 to £9.50 for adults and £3.00 to £7.50 for concessions.

But would fans note they are not on sale from the theatre.

* Huddersfield Giants Squadbuilder committee hold their final event of the year tonight with a race night at the Ashbrow pub (8pm).

All fans are welcome and Giants players have been invited to attend.
