IN-FORM Huddersfield Giants travel to Dewsbury tonight (7.30) confident of making it three Senior Academy First Division victories on the trot.

After strolling to wins at Keighley and Oldham, a visit to the Ram Stadium should hold no real fear.

Although injury doubts to members of head coach Jon Sharp's senior squad mean Academy coach Lee St Hilaire is far from able to field his strongest possible side, he is still able to call on several Super League players.

In the backs, centre Matthew Whittaker will be looking to improve on the two tries he scored in the 44-24 triumph at Oldham on Saturday.

Up front, the Rams could struggle to contain the likes of Jonathan Grayshon and Iain Morrison.

Giants Junior Academy coach Chris Plume will also be looking to impress in his first Senior appearance of the campaign.

Also included in the second-row is Karl Mills, who was unavailable against Oldham.

And with the amount of Huddersfield firepower up front, half-backs Thomas Hemingway and Tony Williams could have a field day.

"The boys have made a great start under Lee St Hilaire and I think they'll be bitterly disappointed if they don't make it three on the trot tonight," said Giants football manager Stuart Sheard.

"They are enjoying their rugby right now and relishing playing in a winning side.

"They certainly don't want that to end at the moment."
