GIANTS chief Jon Sharp is facing a massive selection headache.

He watched a young Huddersfield side lose 38-22 to Wigan in Kris Radlinski's testimonial at the JJB last night.

Then he admitted picking a 17 for the engage Super League opener at Leeds on Sunday week will be a tough task.

"The boys have just made my job even more difficult," admitted Sharp, whose side stormed into a 22-6 lead before he took off his more experienced players.

"Competition for places in this squad is fierce, and that was reflected in the way we opened last night's game (report P42 & 43).

"A lot of these players know they are fighting for places in the 17 to face Leeds and they all gave me a very timely reminder of what they can do."
