HUDDERSFIELD Giants have had very little time to prepare for tonight's home Super League clash against Wigan.
But the time they have spent on the training ground has been devoted to defence.
Head coach Jon Sharp remains fairly satisfied with his side's attacking form.
However, when it comes to the defensive part of the game, it's a totally different story.
In losing the last three matches, the Giants have conceded 114 points, including a big 52 in Easter Tuesday's defeat at champions Bradford Bulls.
And Sharp is far from happy.
"If your defence is up to the mark, 18 points should be good enough to win a game in Super League," he said.
"In our last three games, we've scored 18 points in each of them and come up empty.
"That's something I find totally unacceptable.
"So, obviously, the reason we are losing right now is because we're conceding far too many points. It's as simple as that.
"As a result, all our training sessions at the moment are geared towards defence.
"Hopefully, we've come up with the right solutions and we can start to move ahead again.
"The acid test is tonight."
