WARRINGTON boss Tony Smith handed special praise to Chris Bridge and Vinnie Anderson after his side’s emphatic 40-18 victory over Huddersfield.
Chris Hicks grabbed a hat-trick of tries for the second successive week as Warrington smashed the Giants’ nine-month winning away record.
Hicks was indebted to a classic centre show from outstanding former Giants Academy man Bridge, and both he and Anderson were singled out by Smith.
Smith said: “Both players had their best games since I arrived at the club.
“Chris was outstanding and we have all seen what talent he has.
“Huddersfield have a decent pack and have intimidated a lot of teams this season but our pack was strong, and Vinnie had the strongest game I’ve seen.
“We played some good stuff and it’s not always easy to carry on from where you left off, but we did it today.”Related content
