BIG Eorl Crabtree is urging as many Giants fans as possible to get to the Galpharm on Sunday and be part of ‘something special!’

Around 10,000 Huddersfield fans are expected to back their side in the home Super League XIII opener against champions Leeds (3.00).

And with up to 5,000 supporters

travelling across the M62 to back the Rhinos, the Giants’ previous record Super League crowd of 12,417 set in 1998 is ready to be smashed.

That means the pressure will be on Crabtree and his teammates to rise to the occasion.

But the 25-year-old prop believes the Giants are ready to deliver!

"Sunday is going to be awesome," said Crabtree, above.

"We couldn’t really have asked for a better start to the season than at home to the Super League champions.

"It’s going to be incredibly tough, we know that.

"But we feel ready for the challenge and we’re determined to give everything we’ve got.

"There’s a real buzz around town and I hope the fans turn out in force to be part of something special!"
