Triumphant Super League duo Jake Connor and Kruise Leeming have been named in the Giants Under 19s Academy squad for tomorrow’s home clash against St Helens.
The teenagers both grabbed tries in Sunday’s impressive 36-18 top-flight triumph at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
But with the senior side not in action this weekend because of the Challenge Cup semi-finals, Connor and Leeming have been released to lead Huddersfield’s challenge against the high-flying Saints at Huddersfield YMCA’s Laund Hill complex.
And that will improve the chances of coach Chris Thorman’s side gaining revenge for a narrow defeat to Saints at Langtree Park earlier in the season.
