HUDDERSFIELD Giants head to Wakefield on Sunday (3.30), with skipper Chris Thorman declaring: “We’ll still make the play-offs!”

Although the Giants have slipped to ninth in the Super League ladder after collecting just one point from their last five fixtures, Thorman remains confident his side will finish in the top six.

In-form Wakefield start as favourites, having secured solid victories over Wigan and Salford in their last two outings.

But Thorman believes the tide is about to turn.

“Every side in Super League has had their dips, and that’s obviously what we’re experiencing now,” said Thorman, right.

“But we know our time will come again, and we know it will come soon.

“Nobody was as disappointed as us at the way we handed Warrington the win last weekend.

“However, in and among the poor stuff, we created a lot of good things, and as soon as we put that right we’ll be back again. We know we’ll still definitely make the play-offs.”
