PAUL JACKSON has set his sights on powering the Giants to victory in his first Super League clash back at The Jungle!
The 27-year-old prop returns to Castleford Tigers tomorrow (3.30) determined to help Huddersfield gain a fourth victory in seven starts.
It's the first time Jackson will have played a competitive clash at Castleford since escaping from The Jungle when the Tigers were relegated in 2004.
He did play at the ground in the Giants' 24-22 pre-season triumph over Castleford in January.
Jackson knows the welcome will be far more hostile this weekend, but he believes he is ready.
"Going back to a former club for the first time is always strange," admitted Jackson.
"Luckily, I did that in the pre-season game and I'm sure that's going to help.
"I know from that game that the Cas fans will get on my back and would love it if I had a nightmare.
"But I'm determined that won't happen.
"I intend using that `warm' welcome as an extra source of motivation.
"If we can silence the fans, then we know we're doing our job right.
"And I know it's going to be down to me and the rest of our pack to make that happen.
"The forwards laid a good platform against Harlequins last week, and if we do the same tomorrow, we'll take another big step forward."
