IT'S extremely hard to know exactly what to say after a result and a performance like this.

Obviously it was another bitterly disappointing day at the office and we don't want to see anything like this repeated again in a hurry.

Straight after the game we all had a big talk and set about trying to put things right.

At the heart of that was, of course, ways in which we can bounce back - and quickly.

To make that happen we need to remain positive and try not to dwell on all that is negative.

During the course of a season every side is bound to experience its highs and its lows, and right now we're going through our low.

And we're sure that it will only be a matter of time before we're back on a high.

Our first high came at the start of the the year.

We had a really big off-season and we hit the ground running as soon as the campaign got under way. But no team in Super League has ever managed to stay on a high throughout the season.

Every team will experience the sort of downcycle we're in at the moment, and most come out the other end and do well again.

And that's exactly what we intend to do, starting by working on our defence.

One of the few positives we can take from our recent poor performances is that we know it's this part of our game that's letting us down.

Our communication on defence is the big one for us, and as soon as we sort that out, the better.

We know when we get the ball we can score tries. We just have to make sure we stop conceding them!
