NEW Giants marketing chief James Brammer believes his club is well on course to average 7,000 next season.

Huddersfield were just short of the 6,000 mark in Super League in 2006.

But former Bulls man Brammer believes that total should be beaten with ease, particularly on the back of a first Challenge Cup final appearance in 44 years.

Season ticket sales for Super League XII are 30% up on this time last year, with around half that figure snapped up by new holders.

And with adults saving £64.50 on matchday prices if they purchase a season ticket before the end of the Early Bird Discount date of November 30, Brammer is confident a whole host of records can be smashed.

"We want to have record season-ticket sales and set a new best for our average crowds," said Brammer.

"And the signs so far are very encouraging.

"We really have got some fantastic offers, and it's pretty clear the fans are recognising that fact.

"As well as saving money on matchday prices, holders will receive a £5 discount voucher on the new replica away shirt, a free invited to the club's 2007 Super League launch and the chance to bring a 'Friend for a Fiver' to the first three home games."
