CONFIDENT captain Chris Thorman believes Wigan's JJB Stadium holds no fear for the Giants.

Huddersfield head across the M62 tonight (8.00) on the back of a 26-20 Super League triumph over Warrington Wolves five days ago.

But, just as significantly, the Giants return to the venue where they triumphed 26-24 in May last year.

Memories of that win, which helped Thorman's side record a first Huddersfield double over Wigan for 60 years, are still fresh in the Giants' minds.

And the goalkicking stand-off believes that could prove an important factor tonight.

"We go to Wigan knowing that it's a place where we can win," said Thorman.

"Up until last season, that's something the Giants had never achieved in Super League.

"But now we've overcome that huge psychological barrier and shouldn't feel overawed.

"We haven't talked about that win too much as a squad, because quite a few of this year's side weren't here in 2005.

"But those who did play last May remember it as a very special night.

"And with the new signings helping to strengthen the side, there's no reason why we can't achieve a repeat."
