HUDDERSFIELD Sharks Under 10s will take on sides from Halifax clubs King Cross and Siddal and Oldham's Waterhead in a special tournament run as part of the Syngenta sports fun day on Sunday.
The event gets under way at 12.00 with games played on a round-robin format.
Sharks are gearing up for a big season at junior as well as senior level, with new teams run in the Under Eight, Nine and 12 age groups, the latter to be coached by Giants player Eorl Crabtree.
There is an open junior training session at Syngenta tomorrow (10.15 to 11.30) and another a week later (ring Jayne on 01484-308187 for details).
Sharks' senior team start their National Conference League Division II fixtures at home to Cottingham Tigers a week tomorrow.
