AFTER their disappointment of losing in the Yorkshire Cup final, Huddersfield RUFC Under 13s had a chance to test themselves against Wharfedale and notched a 40-7 victory

Wharfedale, who had lost the semi-finals in the same competition, faced aside without their two regular props and Huddersfield had to go into the match with uncontested scrums, which allowed Keelan Haworth to play his first game for the club in the front row.

Winger Cameron McBride scored their first try in the corner before scrum half Addy who slipped through to score a try which he also converted.

Sam Bourouh was next over the line for a try which Addy converted and early in the second half

Bourouh grabbed a second try.

Huddersfield finished strongly as Bourouh completed his hat trick, converted by Addy and Ben Dickinson nipped in with delightful side step to score, converted by Addy.
