MARK EASTWOOD sends his YMCA side out at Keighley tomorrow (2.15) with the instruction to grab only their second back-to-back win of the season.

It was at the start of October that YM last achieved a League double when they defeated Redcar, having earlier beaten Keighley 36-12 at Laund Hill.

Now the fixtures are reversed, and after scoring a season’s high 41 points last week against Redcar, YMCA now take on Keighley at Skipton Road, and it’s a match which they cannot possibly afford to lose as they continue their battle to avoid relegation.

“I’ve told the lads this game is even more important than last week’s,” said coach Eastwood.

“Because if we lose tomorrow, then last week’s good win will have counted for absolutely nothing!”

Front rower James Watson and new stand-off James Swift both picked up knocks seven days ago, but both are expected to be fit in a side which is likely to be the same 15 which started last week’s game at Laund Hill.

New scrum half signing from Halifax, Ash Walker who came off the bench in the second half, is again likely to start on the sidelines, alongside Max Nyahoda and Craig Coulson.

YMCA: Canning; Belton, Stead, Marsden, Greenwood; Swift, Marshall; Watson, Dalton, Gregson, Helliwell, Whitehead, Bracken, Dyke (Stephen), Walker (N). Subs: Coulson, Walker (A), Nyahoda.
