The Under18s dug deep to secure an important win against a strong Odsal Sedbergh side.

Forwards Keiran Joseph, Rob Watterson, Tom Good and Tom Guinan opened up a 20-6 interval lead with some very powerful running.

Oustanding defence from Ben Cuttell and Joseph meant the Panthers held out for a 26-20 victory.

But Farrell deserves the acclaim after yet another fine display.

A depleted Under 12s slumped to a sorry defeat at Queensbury.

Captain Luke Newton was man-of-the-match for his tackling and ambition, while Conan Pierre and Carlo Zaffino also impressed.

The half-term absentees eventually took their toll as Queensbury ran out 30-0 winners.

The Under 11s were second best in a close encounter with Meltham.

Nathan Pimm (2) and Edward McGuire crossed the whitewash in a game which could have seen either side snatch victory.

Harry Redfearn opened the scoring, which was followed by tries from Matteo Zaffino (2), William Walsh and Daniel Sharp.

Redfearn added another as the visitors clinched a 28-10 triumph.
