Don't hang around if you want to be involved in Pedal for Pounds this season.

We are riding from the Victoria Tower at Castle Hill to Blackpool Tower and back for our last match of the season over at Bloomfield Road.

It’s become a massively popular event, raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and our club’s own Academy, and places are being snapped up fast.

I know the marathon nature of previous Pedal for Pounds events has possibly put some people off getting on their bike, but the mileage involved this time is much less, as is the time factor with it taking only a couple of days, and it should be much more accessible to inexperienced cyclists.

My advice to anyone would be to get involved. It will be a brilliant experience.

Organising everything for the club is Robyn Deegan, and she can be contacted on robyn.deegan@htafc.com
