The Huddersfield District Chronicle, circulating in Denby Dale, Emley, Skelmanthorpe, Kirkburton, Scissett, Shelley areas of Huddersfield, became part of the Express and Chronicle stable in January 1975.
The original Chronicle - then called the Dearne Valley Advertiser - was founded in 1927.
The paper is published weekly and is available Friday mornings.
